Prospective Parents2018-2019 Supply List & Calendar

Thursday Thoughts from Mrs. Hartman

“No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived,
what God has prepared for those who love him.”

1 Corinthians 2:9-10

Three 5th, 6th and 7th graders were surprised this week following the school mass on Tuesday. The middle school students wrote essays during Catholic Schools Week addressing what their Catholic education at St. Benedict School means to them. Their responses were amazing!!! What they didn’t know is that the essays were used to determine a student from each grade to receive a $500 scholarship from the Endowment Committee to be used toward their 2018-2019 St. Benedict tuition.

We as Catholic educators have long understood the sacrifices that parents and families make to ensure their children receive a Catholic education. The choice you have made for your children to attend St. Benedict Catholic School is never taken lightly or for granted. Likewise our sponsoring parishes also invest in the education of our students through parish and community scholarships as well as funding for financial aid. This year the St. Benedict Catholic School Endowment Committee also wanted to recognize students and families who are committed to supporting education at our school.

Congratulations to the following students whose essays were selected in the scholarship search:
Lauren Schoen Grade 5
A’Nyah Woodard Grade 6
Andrew Metzger Grade 7
Thank you to all of our benefactors and supporters….
Thank YOU for choosing St. Benedict Catholic School!

REGISTRATION
We cannot stress enough to our current families the importance of registering immediately for next school year! With classes already filling up, we cannot guarantee a place at any grade level. It is imperative that our current families register soon to ensure your child has a place reserved at St. Benedict Catholic School for the 2018-2019 school year. Please return registration information along with the family registration fee as soon as possible.
